Over 400 Artists and Guest Artists on Four Floors of this historic, century old warehouse will be sharing their art and processes with you. Northrup King Building at Art-A-Whirl® will feature food trucks, live art demonstrations and artist talks, interactive activities for the family, and more!

Presented by the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association (NEMAA), Art-A-Whirl® is an incredible three day experience in the NE Minneapolis Arts District. Over the last 29 years, it has become the largest open studio tour in the country. Art-A-Whirl® takes place annually throughout Northeast Minneapolis, the third weekend of May.

FAQs:
Is there free parking?

Yes! There is a large parking lot at the NKB. We also encourage using the NEMAA trolley, Free Metro Transit passes, ridesharing, biking, walking, strolling, gamboling, and other means to arrive too!

May I bring my furry four legged friends?
We ask you leave your canine, feline, porcine, and avian friends at home.

Are there passenger elevators?
Yes! The Northrup King Building has a great passenger elevator located near Dock 7. This area also has an accessible ramp with access to the elevator.

Will there be food?
Yes, there will be food trucks each of the three days of Art-A-Whirl® and the fantastic P.F. Cafe!
